Stretching

The process of attaching a fabric-based artwork, such as a canvas painting or embroidery, around a custom frame base by stretching it taut and securing it in place. It restores structural integrity by removing wrinkles, bubbles, and puckers, while also preventing further damage or warping. Stretching is a common solution for mounting canvas works (such as oil paintings or printed photos) and textiles (such as needlepoints, cross stitch, or embroidery), though it is possible with most any fabric-based item.

We’re here to help — be it for stretching oversize oil paintings on canvas, or your latest cross stitch.
